March 8 – International Women’s Day.
For our organization, Future of Ukrainian Nation, this day has a special meaning. Living and working in Ireland, we have the honor every day to collaborate with strong, brave, and incredible women – both Ukrainian and Irish – who support each other.
The history of this day began more than a hundred years ago, when women in different countries around the world raised their voices for their rights – for the right to vote, decent working conditions, equal opportunities, and participation in social life.
Today, for Ukraine, this day has an even deeper meaning.
In the time of the full-scale war, Ukrainian women demonstrate incredible strength every day. They serve in the Armed Forces, save lives in hospitals, engage in volunteer work, support their families, raise children, and uphold the lives of communities.
For many women today, the fight for rights also means the fight for the most precious things – the right to live, the right to give birth to children, and the right to raise them in safety and freedom.
Today, Ukrainian women fight not only for their own rights. They fight for the right to life, for the right to a future, and for the right to freedom for the next generations.
We are sincerely grateful to the women of Ireland for their solidarity, support of Ukrainian communities, and the humanity they demonstrate every day.

8 березня – Міжнародний день боротьби за права жінок.
Для нашої організації Future of Ukrainian Nation цей день має особливий зміст. Живучи та працюючи в Ірландії, ми щодня маємо честь співпрацювати з сильними, сміливими та неймовірними жінками – українками та ірландками, які підтримують одна одну.
Історія цього дня почалася понад сто років тому, коли жінки у різних країнах світу підняли голос за свої права — за право голосу, гідні умови праці, рівні можливості та участь у суспільному житті.
Сьогодні для України цей день має ще глибший зміст.
У час повномасштабної війни українські жінки щодня демонструють неймовірну силу. Вони служать у Збройних Силах, рятують життя у лікарнях, займаються волонтерством, підтримують родини, виховують дітей і тримають на собі життя громад.
Для багатьох жінок сьогодні боротьба за права означає також боротьбу за найцінніше – право жити, право народжувати дітей і право ростити їх у безпеці та свободі.
Сьогодні українські жінки борються не лише за свої права. Вони борються за право життя, за право майбутнього і за право свободи для наступних поколінь.
Ми щиро вдячні жінкам Ірландії за солідарність, підтримку українських громад та людяність, яку вони демонструють щодня.
З вдячністю і повагою до кожної жінки – в Україні та в Ірландії.
